The Beach Barber Tract is one of the best places to find ocean view homes in the La Jolla area.  Located within a several block radius to the beach between the Lower Hermosa and the Village of La Jolla is the Beach Barber area.  This was one of the first neighborhoods built in La Jolla with homes dating back to the early 1900's.  The main part of this area and typically on a flat parcel of land so the best ocean view properties will be found closer to the beach and those with higher elevations.  The most expensive homes in the Beach Barber area will be the homes located on the ocean front which currently run at over $11 million dollars for a four bedroom, five bath with 3,124 square feet of living space.  The most affordable homes currently start at just under $2.5 million for a four bedroom residential income 3 unit home.  That home is currently under contract and have opened escrow already.
