La Jolla Broker Preview Dates

Broker Preview is a really important step in getting your home sold once it goes on the market. Your real estate agent should take full ownership of getting this set up to make this a huge success. Basically, agents in the La Jolla and surrounding areas get to visit your home and meet with the listing agent to ask any questions that have about the property. This is an excellent opportunity for agents to really get to know what homes are on the market and to stay in touch with the La Jolla real estate market.

This is how things occur. First, agents meet every Thursday from 11:30am to 12:30pm at the Round Table Pizza establishment at 3250 Governor Drive in San Diego. This is an hour long meeting where various agents will tell the group of real estate agents about their listing and why they should check it out. The best part is that lunch is free to current MLS members. Your agent should be at this meeting to represent your home and to try to get as many agents to visit your property. Once the meeting is over at 12:30pm the tour starts approximately 15 minuets later at 12:45 and goes until 2:30pm.

The San Diego association of Realtors makes it very easy to put a home on broker preview. Agents have until 4pm on Wednesday to put the home on the list for the Thursday preview. This allows for last minute listings to have the chance to be put on the list. Most agents will print up the list Thursday morning to plan their day of previewing properties. Typically brand new listings will be on the list but this is not always the case. Please check with us to see which of these new properties will be open on any given Thursday afternoon.
