La Jolla Pacifica Community

The La Jolla Pacifica community is a small selection of luxury estates homes located off Pacifica Drive in La Jolla, California. This area is commonly referred to as the Mount Soledad community, more specifically Soledad South due to the location south of the Soleded Mountain. Many of the homes in this area feature four to five bedroom floor plans with 3,000 to 4,000 square feet of living space. The community was first built in the early 1960's which at the time offered amazing coastline and valley views from select lots in this neighborhood. In the late 1980's and mid 1990's is when many of the larger homes in Pacifica were built offering two story floor plans and modern amenities. Since the neighborhood dates back to the 1960's there is no homeowners association which is good news for those looking to save money on costly monthly association dues. The La Jolla Pacifica neighborhood offers a nice mixture of one and two story homes. The single level properties are those mainly from the 1960's as they were built as beach vacation properties. The large majority of the homes built after the 1980's are two levels. One of the nice things about this area is that the streets do not flow through and end at a private cul-da-sac location.
