Playa Blanca La Jolla Condos

The Playa Blanca complex in La Jolla, California offers a very unique and distinctive architectural design that was designed and built in the late 1960's.  The building features tall arches that span across the four story building with garages located on the first level.  This kind of condo design would simply not be built in today's modern age and is a true testament to the 1960's architecture at that time.  Located inside the building are a total of 12 two bedroom condos that will average around 1,000 square feet.  Many of the units have been upgraded with modern kitchens and open floor plans.

The Playa Blanca complex is often mistakenly called the Playa Del Norte building since it's located on Playa Del Norte street.  The management company charges a monthly homeowners association dues which include water, sewer and trash pickup among other things.  There is plenty of storage for bikes and surfboards with a laundry facility located on the first floor.  The biggest selling point is the location as it's approximately one block to the Wind and Sea beach area. It's also a short walk to the La Jolla High School and Muirlands Middle School.  The Village area is also just a short five minute drive.  On average only a few condos come on the market each year in this building with a few select properties offering peek views of the Pacific Ocean.  Current real estate prices for a two bedroom condo will typically run under $800,000.  356 Playa Del Norte is on the market right now for sale at $775,000.  It features two bedrooms, two baths with 955 square feet and is still available for purchase.
