Windemere La Jolla Rentals

Windemere is arguably one of the most popular and well known gated communities in La Jolla. Many who are moving to La Jolla for the first time tend to elect to rent a home instead of doing a purchase for a variety of reasons. Getting to know the neighborhood to see if they like it or not is one of the biggest advantages to renting first before buying. The rental market in La Jolla is very tough with low inventory and clients acting very quickly when new properties come on the market. Having a good knowledge of what properties typically lease for will give you the advantage in being able to make a quick decision.

Windemere offers both attached and detached homes and located at the top of Mount Soledad. Detached single family homes have recently rented between $4,900 for a two bedroom home to $7,500 for a 5 bedroom property. These prices are based on a traditional 12 month lease with the owner paying for the monthly homeowners association dues which includes all of amenities found within the community. Pets are allowed and up to each individual landlord if they want to accept them or not. Attached condos rent out for much less than the detached properties and have recently rented between $4,250 for a three bedroom, three bath condo with 1,858 square feet up to $4,700 for a three bedroom, three bath home with 2,128 square feet. These prices were based off a 6 and 12 month lease period.

Windemere amenities include a community pool, spa, clubhouse with a fitness center and 6 tennis courts. The grounds of the community are very large and include a full size soccer field and its own dedicated lake area. Access into the community is very strict and reserved for residents who live here and their registered guests.
