La Jolla Homes For Sale with Mission Bay Views

The city of La Jolla, California is surrounded by natural beauty from beautiful beaches, panoramic views from the top of Soledad Mountain to stunning views of the coastline looking towards San Diego and Dana Point.  One of the unique and sought after vistas are the neighborhoods that offers views of Mission Bay.  Mission Bah is located just south of La Jolla and is a large body of water where the Sea World theme park is located.  There are several neighborhoods that offer these kinds of views and here is a quick guide on where to look.

First, one of the most popular neighborhoods to offer Mission Bay views is the La Jolla Palisades community.  The Palisades is located in the heart of the La Jolla Mesa area and just above the upscale Bird Rock community.  The neighborhood itself is located high on a hill that offers panoramic views from many of the homes in this neighborhood.  The unique part about having a view of Mission Bay is that the downtown San Diego skyline is the backdrop to the picturesque view.  Most of the homes that offers views of Mission Bay will also have coastline views looking south as well.

Located at one of the highest points in La Jolla is the Mount Soledad neighborhood.  If you are looking for a view property this neighborhood should be at the top of your list.  There are many homes located on the non ocean view side of the street that still offer commanding views of the valley below which includes views of Mission Bay and downtown San Diego as well.  This tends to be a very upscale area with view homes well above the $2 million dollar price point.  The location is also within close proximity to the 5 freeway and just minutes down into the Village area and the beach.
